A Single Rose by Richard Collins

This is music from the Gods, it falls ripe from the tree of life, the way Mozart's or Verdi's music does, though without the formal structure. In this album, Collins has tapped into a place that is inside all of us, waiting to be discovered.

Like a rose, most of these songs are not "man made," but are merely what flowers would sing if you could hear them. These are not songs from him, they are more like songs to him, from somewhere else, something else, like an anonymous bouquet which he felt he had to share. This is a "must-hear" album for anyone who appreciates the soft sounds a piano can make in the right hands. The album is like an extended suite of classical/New Age music, which sounds familiar but is not quite like anything on the radio.
